Only .docx is supported (for legacy .doc, save as .docx in Word first). Conversion happens locally - nothing is uploaded.
About this tool
You have a written Word script or proposal and need a workable deck fast: this tool parses the heading hierarchy (Heading 1 / Heading 2 or outline levels), turns each top-level heading into a slide, and lays its body text and sub-headings out as bullet points in a standard 16:9 .pptx.
Honest scope: this is outline layouting, not AI generation and not a visual conversion - it will not write content for you and does not carry over images or styling. Its value is putting existing text onto slides in one shot. Documents without heading styles are chunked by paragraph automatically.
Features
- Slides split automatically on Heading 1/2 or outline levels
- Body text and sub-headings become bullets and sub-bullets
- Standard 16:9 .pptx, editable in PowerPoint / WPS / Keynote
- Documents without headings are chunked by paragraph as a fallback
- Local browser conversion - no upload, free, no limits
How to use
- Tidy the document: apply heading styles to your sections
- Drop in the .docx and click Convert
- Wait for the outline to be parsed and the slides built
- Download the .pptx and polish it in PowerPoint
Frequently asked questions
- Is this an AI one-click Word to PPT generator?
- No. This tool does not generate content - it lays out the headings and text your document already has onto slides. It cannot write copy for you; it is exactly right when the writing is done and the deck structure is missing.
- The design looks too plain?
- Output is a white title-plus-bullets deck by design - a starting skeleton. Once the structure is right, apply a PowerPoint theme or master with one click. Complex visual design is not something a format converter should attempt.
- Which headings are recognised?
- Heading 1 to Heading 4 styles, the numbered style IDs common in non-English Word files, and paragraph outline levels. Bold big text is not a heading style and will not be recognised - apply real heading styles in Word first.
- Do images and tables appear in the PPT?
- No, the deck contains the text outline only. Convert first to get the structure, then insert visuals in PowerPoint, or preprocess images with the image tools here.
