About this tool

Screen recorders save in chunks, phones split long recordings, downloads arrive as parts - and you just want one file again. That is the job of this merger: select several videos at once (or keep adding them), order them with up/down buttons, remove what you do not need, and join them into a single MP4. MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI and WebM inputs all work.

Joining has two paths. When every clip shares the same video codec, audio codec, resolution and frame rate (the typical case for consecutive recordings from one device), the tool performs lossless stream-copy concatenation: the streams are simply stitched end to end, finishing in seconds with bit-identical quality. When parameters differ, clips are normalized to the first clip size and fps with high-quality re-encoding - odd aspect ratios are centered and letterboxed, never stretched.

Every clip stays in browser memory during the merge - nothing is uploaded - so multi-part meeting recordings and family compilations are safe to process here.

Features

  • Lossless stream-copy joining when codecs, size and fps match: seconds, zero quality loss
  • Automatic normalization pass for mixed clips - scaled, centered, letterboxed, not stretched
  • Add more files, reorder with arrows, remove with one click
  • Mixed MP4 / MOV / MKV / AVI / WebM inputs, universal faststart MP4 output
  • Local processing with live progress and cancel

How to use

  1. Select the clips to join (in one go or add them in batches)
  2. Set the join order with the arrow buttons and remove any unwanted clip
  3. Check the per-clip info and the lossless verdict, then click Merge videos
  4. Preview the joined result and download the MP4

Frequently asked questions

When is lossless joining possible?
When all clips share the same video codec, audio codec, resolution and frame rate - typical for consecutive recordings from the same device. The page tells you after probing: if the verdict is lossless, streams are copied end to end in seconds with zero quality change.
Can I merge videos with different resolutions?
Yes. The first clip sets the target size and fps; the others are scaled proportionally, centered and letterboxed with black bars, then re-encoded together at high quality. No stretching occurs, though this path costs the time of a normal transcode.
Are there limits on clip count or total size?
Keep it to about 10 clips and 1.5 GB combined - browser memory is the bottleneck. Also, every clip must currently carry an audio track; silent clips should be processed separately or given a silent track first.
Does merging reduce quality, and are files uploaded?
The lossless path is bit-identical; the normalize-and-re-encode path uses CRF 20, hard to distinguish from the source in normal viewing. And nothing is uploaded anywhere: there is no backend that could receive your videos.
