Countersign contracts and approval forms with your handwritten signature
About this tool
Countersigning a contract, approving a form, signing an internship agreement - many jobs only need your handwritten signature placed on the PDF. This tool provides an in-browser signature pad (mouse and touch both work) and stamps the signature as a transparent layer onto the page and position you choose, with adjustable width and an apply-to-all-pages option.
Honest caveat: this stamps a signature image - it is not a qualified e-signature under e-signature law (no CA certificate, no tamper-proof timestamp). Fine for internal approvals and informal agreements; use a compliant e-signature provider for important contracts. Drawing and stamping happen on your machine; neither the file nor the signature is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
- Is a signed PDF legally binding?
- Honest answer: it stamps a signature image and is not a qualified e-signature (no CA certificate or timestamp). Internal approvals and informal documents are fine; for important contracts use a compliant e-signature provider.
- Can I sign on my phone?
- Yes. The pad accepts touch input - a finger or stylus produces natural strokes on mobile, and you can clear and redraw any time.
- Will the signature cover the text?
- The signature is a transparent layer placed near the page margins by default; five positions and an adjustable width keep the body text visible.
- Is my signature stored or uploaded?
- No. The signature is drawn on a browser canvas and stamped locally; it disappears when you close the page. Nothing is sent to any server.
