About this tool

Showing a table on a web page, pasting data into a CMS, or sending someone a file that "opens and just works" - an HTML table fits. This tool turns every worksheet of .xlsx / .xls / .csv files into a styled HTML table: shaded header, zebra rows and hairline borders, with headings for multi-sheet files.

The output is a single .html file with UTF-8 and CSS embedded - double-click to open it anywhere, or lift the <table> markup into your page or email. A live preview shows the result before download. Conversion runs locally in your browser - nothing is uploaded.

Features

Frequently asked questions

Can I publish the HTML as-is?
Yes - it is a complete single-file page (embedded CSS, UTF-8) that opens anywhere, or lift the <table> block into your own page.
Is the styling identical to Excel?
No. The output uses one consistent modern table style; your file's colors, merges and column widths are not preserved. For pixel fidelity, use Excel's own Save as Web Page.
Can I paste it into an email?
Copying the <table> block into an HTML-capable mail editor usually works; sending the .html as an attachment means the recipient opens the file.
How is this different from Excel to JPG?
HTML is text: selectable, indexable, re-editable - images are better for social sharing. Pick by use case.
