About this tool
Dropping deck content into Notion, Obsidian or any Markdown-based wiki wants clean structured text. This tool turns each slide into a ## section: the title placeholder becomes the heading, body bullets become nested unordered lists, and table text is labelled at its source - ready to paste or edit.
It shares the extraction engine with PPT to Text and PPT to Word - this is the stop for Markdown workflows: docs, blogs, or feeding AI summarisers. Everything runs locally in your browser - nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
- What does the Markdown look like?
- Each slide becomes a "## N. Title" section (title placeholder text, or the slide's first line when placeholders are skipped), followed by indented bullet lists; table cell text carries a [table] label. Hierarchy follows the deck.
- Are images included?
- No - this converts the text layer, giving you structure and words for knowledge bases or AI summaries. Pair it with PPT to Images when you need the visuals.
- Can I paste it into Notion / Obsidian?
- Yes - the output is standard Markdown with special characters escaped, so Notion, Obsidian, Yuque and Typora all accept it directly, or download the .md and import the file.
