About this tool
A .numbers file is equally opaque on Windows/Android, and PDF is the safe handoff for finance and operations sheets. Apple embeds a QuickLook preview PDF inside every .numbers package - this tool extracts it as-is: the layout you see on a Mac is what the recipient sees.
Honest scope: the output is Apple's preview render (pagination follows the preview). The body is proprietary IWA and cannot be parsed into a spreadsheet in-browser - for editing, export .xlsx from iCloud Numbers. Extraction runs locally; nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I still edit the data after conversion?
- PDF is for reading and printing. For editing, open the file in iCloud Numbers and export .xlsx (opens in Excel), or edit on an Apple device.
- Why not convert Numbers to Excel directly?
- The body is proprietary IWA - no browser can recover a reliable sheet structure, so a converted .xlsx would misalign cells and values. The honest split: PDF here (faithful), Excel via iCloud export (Apple's engine).
- Is the pagination right for large sheets?
- Pagination follows Apple's preview render - the same breaks you see in the Mac print preview. Adjust the print area in Numbers and re-export the .numbers if you need different breaks.
- Is the file uploaded?
- No - extraction runs in your browser; the .numbers never leaves the device.
