About this tool
Scanned or photographed PDFs often come out sideways or upside down. This tool rewrites the rotation flag stored in each page instead of re-rendering anything, so the text layer, vector graphics and image quality are preserved exactly - and a dozens-of-pages document finishes in seconds.
Rotate every page at once, or enter a page range to turn just the pages you need (for example, only page 3). Rotation is additive: it adds 90, 180 or 270 degrees to whatever angle the page already has, and over-rotating is fixed by rotating the other way. The original file is never touched, so experimenting is risk-free.
Features
- Rotate 90°, 180° or 270° clockwise
- Apply to all pages, or only the pages you list
- Flag-only change: no re-render, text stays selectable, zero quality loss
- Thumbnail previews to confirm which pages need turning
- Seconds of local processing - no upload, no signup, no watermark
How to use
- Drop or select the PDF you want to rotate
- Review the thumbnails to see which pages need rotating
- Pick the angle and the scope (all pages or a page range)

Frequently asked questions
- Does rotating a PDF lose quality?
- No. Only the rotation flag in the page properties changes; the content is untouched, text stays selectable and images are never re-encoded. That is fundamentally different from rasterising pages and rebuilding the file.
- I rotated too far - how do I fix it?
- Rotation is additive on top of the current angle. Rotate again to complete the circle (if you overshot by 90°, add 270°), or start over from the original file. The original is never modified, so any mistake is recoverable.
- Can I rotate just one page?
- Yes. Choose "Selected pages" and enter the page numbers, for example 3 or 2-4,7. Only those pages rotate and the rest stay as they are. The syntax matches the PDF Split tool: commas and dashes.
- It looks right in the reader but prints sideways?
- A reader's view rotation only affects what you see and is never saved. This tool changes the rotation property stored in the file, which every device and printer honours. Rotate here first, then print.
