Add a text or image watermark (logo, credit, anti-theft) to your video

About this tool

Before publishing a tutorial, a client cut or internal footage, stamping your name or logo on it is the basic anti-theft move. This tool offers text watermarks - type anything, pick size, color and opacity; rendering uses your browser fonts so CJK and emoji work perfectly - and image watermarks, where a transparent PNG logo looks best.

Five position presets (corners plus center) with a fixed 24 px margin and continuous opacity from 20% to 100% let you place a semi-transparent mark that claims ownership without covering content. Compositing re-encodes every frame at high-quality x264 settings while the audio stream is copied untouched; output is a universal MP4.

As everywhere on this site the video never leaves your device - nothing is uploaded or stored.

Features

  • Text watermark with size, color and opacity - browser-font rendering, full CJK support
  • Image watermark: transparent PNG ideal, JPG/WebP accepted
  • Five position presets plus continuous 20-100% opacity
  • Audio copied losslessly; frames composited at CRF 20 quality
  • Fully local processing - no upload, no watermark, no limits

Frequently asked questions

Does the text watermark support Chinese?
Yes. Text is not drawn by FFmpeg drawtext; it is rasterized to a transparent PNG with your browser own fonts first and then overlaid, so Chinese, Japanese and emoji all render correctly with no font downloads.
Will watermarking reduce quality?
Frames are re-encoded at CRF 20 (compositing requires repainting every frame), visually very close to the source; the audio stream is copied bit-for-bit with zero loss.
Which image format is best for a logo watermark?
A PNG with transparency, so the logo has no white box around it. JPG and WebP work too but bring their background along. The opacity slider applies to image watermarks as well - perfect for a translucent corner mark.
Is my video uploaded? Why is this slower than lossless tools?
Nothing is uploaded; everything runs in browser memory. It is slower because every frame must be repainted and re-encoded - expect transcode-level time (roughly 1-5x clip duration for 1080p), with live progress and a cancel button.
