About this tool

Once a quotation, resume or design draft is forwarded, you cannot get it back - a watermark is the lightest anti-sharing measure there is. This tool stamps your own text watermark on every page: text, size, color, opacity and position are all adjustable, plus an optional 45° tilt for the classic anti-theft look.

Watermark text is rendered by your browser fonts into a crisp transparent layer and embedded into the PDF, so Chinese, English and emoji all display correctly with no font download. Honest caveat: a watermark is visible content - it raises the cost of casual sharing but determined tools can remove it. For sensitive documents, pair it with password protection.

Features

  • Text watermark with free size, color and opacity control
  • Five positions (four corners and centre) plus a 45° anti-theft tilt
  • Chinese, English and emoji render perfectly - no font files to download
  • Crisp high-resolution stamping that survives zooming and printing
  • Page-by-page local processing - no upload, no signup, no extra watermark

How to use

  1. Drop or select the PDF you want to watermark
  2. Type the watermark text and adjust size, color and opacity
  3. Pick a position (corners or centre) and tick the 45° tilt if wanted
  4. Click Add watermark - the result downloads automatically

Frequently asked questions

Does the PDF watermark support Chinese characters?
Yes. The text is rendered by your browser fonts into a high-resolution transparent layer before being embedded, so Chinese, English, Japanese and emoji all display correctly - no reliance on the PDF standard fonts, so no garbled glyphs.
Can the watermark be removed?
Ordinary readers cannot strip it with one click, but professional PDF editors can in principle. Watermarks raise the cost of casual forwarding rather than providing strong secrecy; use password protection for genuinely sensitive files.
Will the watermark cover the content?
Set the opacity to 20%-40% with a light grey color for the classic barely-there look that barely affects reading; raise the opacity when you want it loud. Position, size and tilt can be changed and regenerated at any time.
Can I add an image watermark (logo)?
The current version supports text watermarks only; image watermarks are not provided yet. For a logo effect, prepare the image with the image tools first, or wait for a future update.
