About this tool
Sometimes you just need the words out of a deck: into notes, a translator, or a plain document. This tool lifts the text of every slide in presentation order - numbered per-slide blocks, body text indented by outline level - and shows it right on the page for copying or a one-click TXT download.
It shares the extraction engine with PPT to Word: pick Word for structured editing, this page for plain text. Everything parses locally in your browser - nothing is uploaded.
Features
- All slide text extracted in order, numbered per slide

- On-page preview, copy, or TXT download
- Fully local processing - no upload, no limits
How to use
- Drop in your .pptx file

Frequently asked questions
- Is every bit of slide text extracted?
- Text boxes, titles, body placeholders and table cells all come through; WordArt outlines, text baked into images and chart labels are not in the text layer (use OCR for those). Results are shown per slide so gaps are easy to spot.
- How is this different from PPT to Word?
- Same engine, different output: this page gives plain text (TXT) for copy-paste and batch work; the Word edition produces a structured .docx for printing and editing. Pick whichever page fits the job.
- Any size limit? Are files uploaded?
- No limits - decks of any size are parsed slide by slide. Everything runs locally in your browser: no upload, no account, no watermark.
