Registration systems, exam portals and ID uploads often enforce hard limits such as "no more than 100KB". This page preselects the target-size mode at 100 KB: enter your target and the tool automatically finds the closest quality and dimension combination, then tells you clearly whether the target was met.

How do I compress a photo below 100KB?

Set the target to 100 KB (or lower) and click Compress - the tool searches for a suitable quality and size combination. If a very large original still misses the target, a width limit such as 800px usually solves it immediately.

Will a passport photo get blurry?

Compression re-encodes the image, but 100 KB is usually plenty for an ID photo. If the target forces a dimension reduction, keep the original size with lower quality, or use PNG output to preserve detail.

Does the aspect ratio change?

No. Compression only changes encoding quality and overall dimensions, so the width-to-height ratio is preserved and the photo is never stretched.

Is my photo uploaded?
