- Can it remove a watermark without any trace?
- Honest answer: not guaranteed. Watermarks on plain or gradient backgrounds disappear cleanly; busy textures (grass, fabric, skin) keep a visible mosaic/blur patch. AI removal relies on generative fill and is unpredictable.
- How is this different from AI watermark removal?
- AI removal generates plausible content to fill the area - results vary and artifacts are common. This tool applies deterministic cover-up: what you preview is what you get, with no invented details. For most jobs cover-up is enough.
- Is removing watermarks legal?
- Only process images you own or have permission to edit (your own photos, your own material). Removing watermarks from copyrighted images can infringe the rights holder - do not use it for that.
